What is content score ?
Content Score is a sales center development that automatically measures the quality of a product’s content, created on Seller Center, using predefined parameters based on category- recommended product content guidelines to encourage and ensure customers some products.
Some examples from the sales center by category;
Smartphones > Android Phones and Smartphones > iOS Phones
Men’s Clothing> Shirts
NB Content score settings are actually category specific, so two different subcategories within a parent category will have unique settings.
What are the content score parameters ?
These are the predetermined rules that are defined to ensure the quality of the product content . For example , in a specific category, the threshold for “Product Name” can be set to a minimum of 15 characters and a maximum of 60 characters. The same explanation applies to other product fundamentals such as product description, featured products, product warranty, etc.
What is the purpose and impact of content scoring?
OBJECTIVE ;
- The purpose of C ontent Score is to facilitate product quality control for products created/updated against the score threshold
IMPACT ;
- Content score is 95% or higher = Auto Approval
- Content score is equal to or less than 30% = Automatic rejection
- Content score between 30% and 90% of the score threshold will be forwarded to the QA queue for product review within 24 hours of product creation/product update. 30% to 94% Rather
How can you improve your content score?
- When creating a product, confirm all settings for that product category by clicking the Content Score icon in the upper right corner of your Seller Center .
- Ensure, at a minimum, that all minimum criteria are met for all parameters in this product category.
- Only provide content and specifications relevant to the product. No misleading information at all.
- Always refer to our Content Guidelines for important FAQs and tips on creating products and content by category, as well as whenever the product creation process is unclear.
- We encourage you to attend bi-weekly vendor trainings to better understand content development.
